We deal with topics that are particularly relevant in an orthopedic practice. The focus is on conservative strategies - from exercise therapy to manual medical procedures to guideline-based pain therapy. We critically evaluate regenerative measures (e.g. PRP or hyaluronic acid) and only use them if there is a clear indication.

Serious research requires clear rules - from study planning to data protection and publication. We adhere to established standards and take into account the requirements of ethics, GDPR and good scientific practice.

• Ethics and consent: Prospective projects involving people only take place with consent and, if necessary, an ethics vote.
• Data protection: Collection and evaluation in accordance with GDPR; Pseudonymization/anonymization, if possible.
• Methodological quality: Predefined endpoints, appropriate statistics, reporting along checklists (e.g. STROBE, CONSORT – if applicable).
• Conflicts of interest: Disclosure of financial and non-financial conflicts of interest as well as third-party funding.
• Registration: Suitable study formats are registered in advance (e.g. in publicly accessible registers).
