Topic areas & expertise

We cover the orthopedic spectrum in a way that is understandable to patients - with a particular focus on conservative therapeutic approaches, prevention and realistic expectation management. Regenerative procedures are explained with clear indications, scientific classification and information.

  • Complaints and illnesses: knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, hand, foot/ankle, spine
  • Conservative orthopedics: physiotherapy, exercise, relief, splints/insoles, injections including evidence-based indications
  • Sports orthopedics: overloads, tendon/ligament problems, return to activity
  • Osteoarthritis classification: stages, everyday relevance, options without surgery
  • Regeneration/biological processes: e.g. B. PRP – opportunities, limitations, data situation
  • Diagnostics: clinical examination, imaging (significance, limitations)
  • Aspects relevant to work and everyday life: ergonomic tips, load control

We are also happy to examine trend topics (e.g. home office posture, running boom, club sports, senior sports) and classify study results - always with references to sources if available.

Statements, quotes and fact checks

For clear, factual classification, we offer short statements, checklists or fact boxes. For complex contributions, we support you with background phone calls so that statements are reproduced correctly and in accordance with the context.

  • Short statement (2-4 sentences) on current news
  • Q&A via email for precise quotes without time pressure
  • Telephone background conversation (off the record) for classification
  • Fact check before the editorial deadline, if possible
  • Sources: guidelines, meta-analyses, registry data, professional societies

Please label quotations clearly and give correct function names. We do not provide individual advice on patient data and do not provide remote diagnoses.

Photo, film and filming requests in practice

Filming is possible by appointment. Patient protection, hygiene and procedures during consultation hours have priority. We plan sufficient time slots and choose suitable rooms. We ask for your understanding for spontaneous recordings during ongoing practice operations if this is not possible for organizational or data protection reasons.

  • Required: list of motifs, team size, technology list, desired original sounds, planned scope
  • Data protection: No identifiable patients without written consent
  • Hygiene and occupational safety: Instructions from the practice team are binding
  • Times: Filming outside of main office hours preferred
  • Image rights: Use only in the agreed editorial context; no edits that distort meaning

For larger productions, we recommend a short location scouting in advance. If necessary, we provide neutral demonstration materials (e.g. anatomical models). Medical procedures are not staged for media purposes.

Our team is available for medical lectures, patient-understandable keynote speeches or panel discussions - on site in Hamburg or digitally. Content is tailored to the target group (specialist audience vs. general population) and backed up with current sources.
