FAQ

Not always. The first thing that counts is the clinical examination. We specifically use sonography, X-rays or MRI if the findings are unclear or a relevant structural injury is suspected.

This depends on the diagnosis and the healing process. We release the load when predefined criteria are met (e.g. freedom from pain in everyday life, sufficient strength and stability).

Brief relief can be useful, but progressive, pain-adaptive training (often eccentric) is central. Prolonged complete immobilization often delays recovery.

No. Orthobiological procedures can supplement, but do not replace, the basic program in selected cases. The evidence varies depending on the indication - we decide together after informed consent.

Guideline-based diagnostics and physiotherapy are usually covered. Some regenerative procedures are self-pay services. We provide transparent information in advance.

A referral can be helpful, but is not necessary in all cases. Please feel free to ask in advance by email or make an appointment directly via Doctolib.

Preliminary findings, imaging, medication list, training diary if necessary. Sports or work shoes/insoles are helpful for lower extremity problems.
